Known for its popular Mandawa Fort, Mandawa is a small town in Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. Popularly known as the Open Art Gallery, it is full of arches and magnificent havelis and fortresses. It is located in the center of the Shekhawati region. This is a good getaway for the art and culture enthusiasts. Just as the entire Shekhawati is worth visiting, it is one of the oldest and oldest cities. Which is definitely worth the holiday. The Mandawa Fort, an ancient structure, is one of the reasons for the visit to Mandawa.

The arched entrance door is beautifully painted with pictures of Lord Krishna and his singing, and the rooms are decorated with paintings, mirror work and carvings of Lord Krishna. The Goenka Double Haveli in this place is also a popular monument with portraits of horses and elephants in its façade, and is a beautiful example of "East to West" in the paintings of Rajasthani women and European men. The Murmuria Haveli of this place is known for its paintings, which include Lord Krishna, Pandit Nehru, Cows, Carts, Venice and George V Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Hanuman Parsad Goenka Haveli and Akharam Haveli are some of the other popular ones.

Open Air Art Gallery
This has to be the most interesting part of the trip to Mandawa. Though this does not have any specific location in the entire city it can still be called the open art gallery. Mandawa was the most famous halt for merchants passing over this route in antiquity. And, because a handful of them have established in this area, they have built Havelis for themselves rather than their families as a result of this. These are not only attractively made, but also well-loved and embellished with some of the greatest artwork available.

Thakurji Temple
Temples in Indian Culture are vital on another level. Thakurji temple gives you a magnetic effect in combination with unique styles of artworks and magic created. It has been painted in rainbow colors. The Thakurji Temple is not just a place of worship but also a landmark that shows the horrors of the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857. Murmuria Haveli
Murmuria Haveli is a haveli that is known for all its various artistic paintings of all the famous leaders of the ancient era. In the haveli you can witness the painting of Jawaharlal Nehru sitting on a horse, holding the tricolor. It is been designed in the traditional way of Rajasthan, and its inner architecture has a breathe taking the building to gaze at. Though this was something that was built during the 1930s, it still continues to be one of the favorite tourist destinations of Mandawa, Rajasthan. Their artwork is exceptional and you will surely get to enjoy many paintings.

Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli
The Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli is one of the most important places to visit for a correct exploration of Rajasthani Art, Heritage and culture. The haveli is famous for its great carvings on its walls and pillars. It also has a serving history as a residential palace. The walls of the palace are decorated with numerous paintings, murals, archways, and a number of other images which also depict Shiva on Nandi Bull and Indra on n elephant, and other mythological characters too. This shows the Rajput belief in God and Goddesses. It has several spacious rooms with royal features.

Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli
The Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli is one of the most exceptional pieces of art forms and architecture. It is one of the best mansions of Mandawa to consider. The walls of haveli reflect the glory and wealth of the past era. The walls are full of paintings depicting different and unusual scenes like mirror images of tigers and horses, a woman giving birth, a bird tending her eggs, a greek man, a horse riding a tiger, and so on. These unique carvings attract tourists and make it the main spot to visit.
